My passion is to help you to make the most of your holiday here. Many people just want to come here, get to their villa or apartment, and then just enjoy relaxing with family or friends.
Activities
Others, like to be more active. So if you are one of those, and want some advice on what to do and where to go, then let me know. I have particularly good contacts with the local riding establishments (well behaved and importantly well looked after horses), the water sports operators (the new one for 2009 being paramotoring!), quad bike, bicycle hire etc. Just let me know what you're looking for and I'll try and arrange it.
Special Occasions
But what if you are looking for something really special to celebrate a momentuous occasion? A wedding anniversary perhaps, or birthday - or even a wedding itself. Then do get in contact as I often organise events for guests. For instance, how does one of Lagos' top chefs coming to your holiday home to cook dinner personally for you sound? Or perhaps the Algarve's top band coming to your villa to play for you and your family and friends? Whatever you're looking for, just contact me with your requirements and I'll suggest some ideas and costings.
'Meals on wheels'
Sounds a little WI-ish (and nothing wrong with that) but these meals are anything but WI meals. I have arranged with Lagos' top chef to produce a range of frozen dinners that can be delivered to a guest's homes, or collected from his restaurant in the centre of town, which means that you and the family can enjoy superb food at the fraction of the price going out with a restaurant meal - especially when you think you don't need to buy wine at restaurant prices (supermarket prices in Portugal are typically 2-3 euros a bottle here). So with the purse strings being tightened for all, this could be a way of eating out at the price of eating in. Contact me if you would like to book your meals to be in your freezer when you arrive.
Golf club hire
Having travelled back and forth on a monthly basis to Portugal in the past, I know the hassle of bringing clubs out to the Algarve - and increasingly the cost of doing so. I have a number of sets of good quality clubs for hire, at per week prices that are less than the carriage costs with the airlines (or available from golf clubs). For example, a set of Titleist clubs is 25 euros per week, or 15 euros per day/round. Contact me for details.
